Masonic License Plates
Written by James HowardThe Grand Lodge of Massachusetts has been working with the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles to make available vanity license plates sponsored by Freemasonry. These plates are available for purchase by the public, even though they were specifically made and designed for the Masonic Membership. Most importantly, the proceeds of the vanity plate fees ($40) goes to support the Masonic Medical Research Laboratory (MMRL) and the great work they are doing.
An application form and instructions are attached. There are currently roughly 500 pre-ordered plates out of the 1,500 needed. Please spread the word to your friends, family (and Brothers!).

Open House Results

In all, we had over five men who have a BU affiliation sign up with us; some are already Masons and want to affiliate, while others are interested in becoming Masons! All in all, a successfull event. Also, a big thanks to those Officers that were able to attend and to greet these men.

Rechartering Ceremony Featured
Written by James HowardOn Saturday, June 23rd, 2012 the Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts, Most Worshipful Richard J. Stewart, and a suite of Grand Lodge officers performed a re-dedicated and re-chartering ceremony for the Boston University Lodge AF & AM. The event took place at the Grand Lodge building, located at 186 Tremont Street in downtown Boston. The Officers of the Lodge were then installed in front of over 130 attendees (over 30 of which are among the 50 members of the Lodge!). After the main event, everyone present shared in a joyous celebration, a great meal and unbeatable comaraderie.
